Welcome to Pro Sports Trading, your first steps to becoming a Sports Trader.

So what is Sports Trading?

Sports trading is the same as any other sort of trading, e.g. Stocks and Shares, Forex. However, instead of trading shares you trade (buy and sell) bets. And instead of trading on a Financial Exchange you trade on a Sports Betting Exchange.

Isn`t it just another word for Gambling?

In short, No! As soon as anyone hears the word `bet` or `betting` they automatically think of `Gambling`. Well, you are half right!  Any sort of trading, be it stocks and shares, Forex, or indeed any commodity, involves an element of risk. The difference between Sports Trading and Gambling is that, if you are gambling then you would place a bet on an outcome for a particular event, e.g. Liverpool to beat Arsenal, and then you wait until that event has ended and then pick up your winnings, or lick your wounds. With trading we are buying and selling bets on the same event, both before and during the event itself, and putting ourself in the position where, before the event has even finished, we have secured a profit on that event no matter what the outcome.

So what Sports can be Traded on?

Almost any sport. The most popular are Football, Tennis, Horse Racing, Cricket and Rugby.
